
OK. I must correct my blog entry below. Susan was finishing an already almost done Ladybug Sweater. Quite beautifully, I might add and still quite awesome to me. (See comments on previous post.) There are STEEKS!?? Oy. I hadn't read that far ahead in the pattern directions apparently. I read that and had one of those "Scooby-Doo" reactions to the notion: "Ruh Roh! " Oh well. I've been pretty fascinated by them when everyone else shows theirs off. ...see:

don't worry steeks aren't bad at all! The one thing I recommend though is double sewing your steek lines so you have double protection.
I used my sewing machine and it worked wonderfully!
'Steek' means gate and you open the gate when you cut the steek. These are machine stitched steeks so don't worry too much -- and thank you for correcting the impression that I am "Super-Speedy," the Wonder Knitter!
