Sock #1 and #2

They aren't identical twins, but I never tried for that so if it turned out that way it would have been a mistake! This is the Sock-It-To-Me Harlequin yarn from Elann.com. It's a nice enough yarn, and very affordable for a fledgling sock knitter. I used the Magknits Jaywalker pattern on 2 Size 1, 24-inch circular needles. The zig-zag pattern shoes down to the toe from the top, but I just did regular stockinette on the soles. My feet are not the tiny little girl feet that most sock patterns are written for, and I was able to get a pair of socks from 2 balls of the SITM yarn. It's put up in 230 yard skeins. I bought 3 skeins per pair just in case, but didn't need the third skein. So...now I have a stash of 1 skein each of leftover blue and purple yarn...hmmm............ Posted by Picasa
